Being a jeweler, I see my good share of sentimental gifts. It's part of the reason I still love making my Secret Promise Rings...
Every now and again, I get a custom order for something a little out of the ordinary:
Mac Symbols (? I still don't get it...)
And sometimes I get an order for something super sweet:
Smiley Face (for a boy to give to his girl-friend)
I do love a challenge when it comes to creating symbols and such:
Kanji symbols: "Ten"
Whatever the sentiment, I really do love creating that very special, perfect gift...even if it's a gift for themselves:

What would you want your ring to say this Valentine's Day?
those are all so beautiful... I think I would need two... one with the names of my children on the inside.. and the outside.. would say "Breath.. 1..2..3..4...5" learned that in lamaze but it has been so much more useful in the raising than the birthing of them. Another ring I would love would say "Dave's" on the outside.
